Wine technician / Wine technologist / Oenologist or food technologist with a great passion for wine (m/f/d)

80–100% | Kemptpark 33, 8310 Kemptthal | Start-up Environment

AMESCO stands for non-alcoholic wine enjoyment. We de-alcoholize wines from our partner wineries and further develop the quality of non-alcoholic wines with the aim of preserving the origin, style, and signature of the winemakers. AMESCO does not own its own wines or vines; instead, we have developed our own filtration-based de-alcoholization method and built our own production facility in Kemptthal.

Your Role

You are the central specialist for de-alcoholization at AMESCO. This role is hands-on and self-reliant: you operationally carry out de-alcoholization, ensure quality, and further develop the method and style of additional products together with our partner wineries. Support is provided by the team on an ad hoc basis.

What to Expect

– Operational execution of de-alcoholization
– Sensory and stylistic development of wines
– Bottling, hygiene & quality assurance
– Close collaboration with Swiss and international wineries
– Shaping the portfolio and further developing the method

What You Bring

– Education as a viticultural technician, wine technologist, oenologist, or food technologist with a solid background in wine and oenological processes
– Practical experience with wine, in a wine cellar, or similar
– Strong sensory understanding
– High quality standards and affinity for technology
– Interest in taking responsibility in a start-up environment
– One foreign language: English, French, or Italian

What We Offer

– Central operational role with real scope for design
– New and state-of-the-art production infrastructure
– Performance-based remuneration with an option for company participation
– Flexible workload (80–100%) depending on your life situation

For us, further development means testing, adapting, and learning.

This role is for people who master their craft, want to take responsibility, and respect wine – and yet want to rethink it.
