Cave du Rhodan
The Mounir family has been running the Cave du Rhodan winery in Salgesch since 1962, now in its third generation with Olivier and Sandra. With vision and passion, the winery has become a fixture in the Swiss wine world – known for quality, authenticity, and customer focus.
Numerous awards attest to its high standards: These include the title of Swiss Winery of the Year 2022 and the award for best Valais white wine at the international awards in 2023.
Focus on sustainability
Sustainability is a lived reality at Cave du Rhodan. For many years, the certified organic winery has relied on biodynamic cultivation, questioning not only what the vineyard gives, but also what can be given back to it.
A prime example is the Ouessant sheep: Europe's smallest sheep breed helps with ground cover and canopy management. This keeps the soil fertile, preserves biodiversity, and ensures high grape quality. A viticulture that works today – and will be even better tomorrow.
“With the process from AMESCO, the moment has finally come for us to be able to stand behind an alcohol-free variant in our product portfolio in terms of quality as well.”
