The Bioweingut Lenz is committed to organic farming and cultivates a total of 27 hectares of agricultural land, of which 5.5 hectares have been renaturalized to create areas for biodiversity. The winery's aim is to promote diverse habitats and move away from monocultures.
As a visionary winery, the Lenz family strives to respect natural cycles and actively address the challenges of climate change. With the goal of producing sustainable wines, they are committed to promoting the balance of natural ecosystems, thereby bringing expressiveness and quality to every bottle.
PIWI grapes out of conviction
With over 40 different grape varieties, more than 95% of which are PIWIs (fungus-resistant grape varieties), the Lenz winery showcases an impressive diversity. These fungus-resistant varieties are particularly well adapted to the climatic conditions of the growing region and are cultivated pesticide-free by the organic winery.
